Microsoft is taking a cautious approach to bringing Copilot to Windows 10, as it wants to make sure that the feature is high quality and performs well. 

Copilot will be available to Windows 10 Home and Pro users in the Release Preview Channel. It will not be available to Windows 10 Enterprise or Education users. 

What Is Copilot?

Users can enable Copilot by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and turning on the switch labelled “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available”. 

Once Copilot is enabled, a new button will appear on the right side of the taskbar.  Clicking the button will open a chat window where users can interact with Copilot.
