When I started this blog, I was not so new to the internet because I had already failed in my previous attempt; after then, I decided to equip myself with the proper knowledge by learning hardcore web development and search engine optimisation.

And just after a few years, I started this, and I must tell you that it has been an excellent experience.

I must tell you, there are over 7 billion blogs/websites on the internet, but not all of them are getting the same amount of traffic, some are doing well than others, and so many factors cause this, and some of the significant factors are.

1. Buying Your Domain From A Poor Registrar.

If your domain and host registrar are terrible, be ready to face hell. When Google comes to crawl your website and is usually given a 504 error, then be sure that Google will relegate your website to the lowest rank ever, not to be seen by any potential finder.

I usually recommend you buy your domain from an excellent domain name registrar. I typically recommend Bluehost anytime; if you already have your website hosted somewhere else, you should consider changing.

2. Your Website Is new.

When you start a new website, there is high certainty that you will not get organic traffic for the first three months – six months, and this is because one of Google’s ranking factors is centred around the domain age and authority of your website.

So don’t be in a rush; when you create a new website, be patient and wait.

I usually recommend you make very excellent of the first three months to load your website with at least the first fifty contents aft; afterwards, you can then proceed to link building, aft; after months, your website should begin to see an increase in traffic.

5. Your Contents are Way Too Short.

In the world of search engine optimization, Content is King, many other factors cause a blog to rank but the content is significant.

I laugh when I see many bloggers trying to rank with concise content, they write their ideology without enough reference and keyword research; this will not get your blog traffic.

Google is adjusting its search engine to display a wealth of information to its end-user.

If you want to rank on Google and get enough traffic, you should write about 2000 words; anything from 2500 words is excellent.

I know that it is very hard, and you think it is challenging. Trust me, when I started this blog, it was tough for me because it was not in my nature to be a writer, but as time went on I started to learn.
